General Steps for Requesting A Quote for InDesign Translation Services
- We receive a PDF file of the InDesign project from the client (see quote request process steps including email address and upload link for sending files).
- Our company performs a review and analysis of the PDF file to determine the word count.
- A quote is prepared based on the number of words (discounts applied for repetition and volume) and the number of pages for formatting.
- The quote is emailed to the client. If they accept then the full InDesign file set is requested to begin the project.
How Much Time Is Needed For A Project
The time requirement for project performance scales with the scope of the project. Simple one or two page projects can often be translated, proofread, and formatted in as little as one day. Larger project (e.g., 100+ page manuals in multiples languages) may take more than a week in some cases. Schedule estimates are indicated in our prepared quotes. When required there can be steps taken to accelerate projects.
