Translators Get Work From Agencies This Way

As I’ve stated before in previous blogs we receive numerous resumes emailed to us from translators interested in doing projects. We welcome them although each translator’s contact addresses only a portion of the services we deliver to clients.

Affinity Translation’s standard translation services includes post-translation revision/proofing by a second translator. We prefer that translators and proofreaders work together as a team. There’s no compelling reason for us to be inserted in between.

So for translators interested in receiving work from us (or other agencies) why not consider teaming up with a colleague to provide a complete translation/proofreading solution? We receive very few offers of this nature.

Translators that provide us with the complete solution we need effectively differentiate their services, make things easier for agencies, and are as a result more likely to be awarded the assignments they seek.
