Question: Do You Do Spanish Translation in San Antonio?

“Do you do Spanish translation in San Antonio,” a recent caller asked?

It’s a question that requires clarification. Is the caller asking:

1) do we provide translation services for clients in the San Antonio area? Or,

2) would the translator performing translation work for our company be physically located in San Antonio?

To question #1 above we can definitively answer yes. In fact we not only provide translation services for clients in San Antonio, we’re a national company with clients throughout the United States and Canada. We support translation in most major languages, and a number of others.

As to question #2 above the answer to that question is probably no, with the follow-up question does it matter?

In the vast majority of cases it doesn’t matter where translators are that perform the skilled linguistic work for our clients. Some clients ask about this initially, to be informed, but quickly conclude that it’s moot. What matters is that we deliver high quality translations in line with client specifications, that we do it in a timely manner, and at a price that’s at or lower than industry established pricing standards.

So for the record, insofar as geography is concerned, our office is in Denver, Colorado. But it really doesn’t doesn’t matter does it?
