Affinity Translation Launches Articulate Storyline eLearning Translation/Localization Operations

Kickoff Project for National Brand Client Successfully Completed

Denver, Colorado – Affinity Translation announces the launch of its turnkey Articulate Storyline translation and localization operations. The eLearning translation operations of the company provide turnkey services initially specializing in course materials developed within the popular eLearning application Articulate Storyline. Language services include translation of text, graphics that contain embedded text, and video translation (i.e., subtitling or foreign language voiceovers). As a final step all inputs are integrated back within the Articulate Storyline application environment to produce a completed and ready-to-use course in a new target language. Spanish and French are popular target languages for many US based organizations although translation services into virtually any language are available.

The company’s standard process for translation of Articulate Storyline eLearning courses is:

1. Exported text from Articulate Storyline is translated and then proofread by a second linguist. Assigned translators are always native speaking in the target language.
2. Graphical elements such as line drawing or illustrations that contain text are translated.
3. Video content (when present) is translated by adding subtitles or creating new voiceover content in the target language
4. All translated inputs are then brought back into the Articulate Storyline environment.
5. As a final quality control measure a translator reviews and tests the integrated course to ensure language accuracy, context, and flow of the final course.
