Business ‘Wisdom’ from a Translation Company
We try to run our business as though we’re continuously on the verge of disaster, failure, and obsolescence.
While the reality for our business is probably much less dire, most of us can recall once popular brands, technologies, and companies that have today faded into oblivion. Many were household names during their heydays.
When we began our business in 2007 we imagined that at some point we could stop worrying so much about our continued commercial viability, and instead mainly focus on taking care of our customers. In other words we could relax a little at some point, not ease up in terms of providing quality services, but coast a bit in some ways.

In a static business environment such an approach might be okay. Find a model/formula that works and stick with it. In reality the business environment for most companies is ever changing. Some changes are subtle, others more disruptive, being shaped and affected by technologies, economics, government, competition, society, to mention a few prominent factors.

The above quote’s author is unknown to us but it suggests there can be optimism even in the face of risk and the possibility of temporary set backs.
