Translation Services the Traditional Way Still Works

Doing things better sometimes implies improving processes, improving technology, or both. In the translation industry there are various initiatives around that in one way or another share the general goal of improving the state of the delivery of translation services.

When prospective translation clients contact our company they usually ask a few basic questions. They ask about pricing, delivery schedules, sometimes about the qualifications of our translators, and a few basic things of this nature. They seldom (if ever) ask what we’re doing to improve our services.

Why do I point these things out? I make these observations mainly for our company’s own benefit to emphasize that improvements in the way we do business will only be important to our clients if it affects them in ways they value.

For many translation clients the traditional methods of performing and delivering translation services still works quite well.
