Top 2018 Language Services Industry Buzzwords
To stay abreast of industry trends and happenings we regularly read articles and announcements from a few prominent language industry trade publications and recognized authorities. Judging from what we’ve read throughout 2018, as a small language service provider (LSP), we should as soon as possible begin doing something (it’s not clear exactly what but something) in connection with:
- Artificial intelligence (AI)
- Neural machine translation (NMT)
- “Lights-Out” project management
In other words be afraid. Be very afraid.
The experts might be right. Although for the skeptics among us we suggest to keep in mind the words attributed to the sage Yogi Berra. “It’s difficult to make predictions, especially about the future.”
