Limitations Of An English Only Organization

Language, a system of conventional spoken, manual (signed), or written symbols by means of which human beings, as members of a social group and participants in its culture, express themselves. It’s estimated that 94% of people worldwide do not speak English as their first language. A whopping 75% of them do not speak English at all.

An English language only organization is therefore limited. It’s limited in pursuing the objectives of language described above.

So is an English only orientation for your organization sufficient? If not then some form of language services (translation, interpretation, voiceovers, and others) will likely be an integral and ongoing part of normal operations.
