Certified Translation Services
Certified translation services for USCIS (Immigration), US and international government agencies, and virtually any purpose requiring an official translation certification.
Affinity Translation provides certified translation services by native speaking linguists for all types of official documents. Birth certificates, marriage certificates, and divorce documents are just some of the types of documents for certified translation for immigration and other official purposes.
Spanish, French, German, Italian, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean are among the most commonly requested languages for certified translation. We provide translation services for these languages and many others including European, Asian, Middle Eastern, and African languages.
To consistently provide high quality certified translation services to our clients we follow a structured process. Our standard multi-step translation & QA process is outlined below.
Source material is reviewed to identify special requirements and confirm legibility.
Translation is carefully performed by a professional native speaking translator.
Translated text is reviewed and edited by a second translator following the initial translation.
The completed translation is sent to the client via email or secure upload along with a signed certification.
The certified translation will appear similar in layout to the original document so that a visual correlation can be made. The below thumbnail images are examples.
Our signed certification is included with every certified translation project we deliver. Affinity Translation’s standard certificate of translation is as shown to the right. This certification has been successfully used for thousands of certified translation projects since 2007.
The US Citizenship and Immigration Services defines a Certificate of Translation as:
On request the language can be modified to conform with specific requirements for other parties requiring a translation certification (e.g., academic organizations, other government agencies, courts, et. al.).
