How We Translate Documents
Document translation clients may be interested to know what happens once they place their orders for document translation services. Once an order for document translation is received a structured process is follows in every instance. The structured process our company follows ensures a high quality outcome from project to project.
A project is assigned to the appropriate translator/proofreader team within a few minutes after receiving an order from a client. Standard procedure is that translators be native speaking in the target language. There are occasionally exceptions to this rule (for valid reasons) but in 99% of the cases this standard is observed.

As a translation agency we work with our worldwide network of experienced translators in the various languages we support. Our network of professional linguists has been established over many years of performing successful document translation projects. Since we work with many translators around the world, we have the ability to select the most ideally suited translators depending on the specifics of the project (e.g., subject matter, delivery schedule, etc.).
After completion of the translation process, a proofreader review the first translator’s work. The proofreading step is an important one to ensure uniform and consistent quality of translation services. Final attention to formatting is also given. The translator/proofreader team is tasked with building into the translation sufficient visual correlation between the source and target languages files. In this way even when a client does not speak or read the target language, the correlation is still clear by virtue of the similarity in visual presentation.
If document are to be commercially printed, specialized formatting attention (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, or similar) is applied according to the project specification.
The translated documents are then delivered to the client for their review and acceptance. Clients have the opportunity to ask questions or request discretionary adjustments in the translation or formatting.
